The Cookiecutter Shark, also called the cigar shark, is the only known species of shark that can actually give its prey a literal "cookie cutter" wound. These wounds are usually in a circular pattern making them easily recognizable. But don't let its small size fool you, the Cookiecutter Shark is fearless and has been known to feed on much larger prey, including dolphins and whales!
